Victor Karandashev - Leningrad State University, St.Petersburg, Russia
Victor Karandashev has taught at Russian universities and has also been a visiting professor and a Fulbright Scholar in the U.S.A., working at and providing guest lectures for colleges and universities throughout the country. He has also visited and conducted research on psychology teaching at universities in several European countries. He has presented his work related to international issues in psychology education at several national and international conferences. He was instrumental in organizing two international conferences on psychology education in St. Petersburg, Russia (2002, 2008), and remains a driving force of the international teaching conferences. He was an invited guest editor for the special issue on international practices in psychology education published in the IUPsyS flagship publication, International Journal of Psychology (2006). He was a co-editor and an author in the two volumes of Teaching Psychology around the World (2007, 2009).
He will give a talk on International Psychology Education, providing the retrospective and promise for the global future. |
